JIMMY Dunne is QPR’s Player of the Month for December.

Our Irish centre-back has impressed since establishing himself at the heart of the R’s defence and has been rewarded for his recent performances.

The defender – who played every minute in December – ended the month with a dominant display during our dramatic 2-1 victory at Bristol City.

Dunne received 53% of the vote from the R’s faithful, fighting off competition from team-mates Yoann Barbet and Chris Willock.

Meanwhile, Barbet came top in our Goal of the Month poll for his last-gasp winner at Ashton Gate.
