Eze makes full debut for England U21s

EBERE Eze made his first start for England Under-21s on Tuesday night in a 2-1 defeat against the Netherlands.

The Rangers No. 10 started in Doetincham just four days after coming off the bench for the Young Lions in a 3-0 win over Albania.

Kaj Sierhuis’s first-half effort for the Dutch was cancelled out by Mason Greenwood - but the match was decided by a stunning injury-time free-kick from Javairo Dilrosun.

Eze played 62 minutes of action before being replaced by Arsenal’s Reiss Nelson.

The 21-year-old returns to Harlington on Thursday where his focus will turn to Friday night’s game at Fulham.
