FAYSAL Bettache has returned from his loan spell at Oldham Athletic.

The midfielder joined the Latics in August but made just five league starts during his time at Boundary Park – 13 appearances in all competitions.

The 21-year-old cannot officially be recalled until the transfer window reopens in January and, therefore, is not eligible to play first-team fixtures for QPR until the New Year.

However, he can feature for our B Team and Under-23 side.

R’s boss Mark Warburton said: “Faysal’s loan began in positive fashion, but the latter part was not so positive and we have to make sure we maintain the best interests of our players.

“We’re obviously happy to have him back and will now look at the various options to continue to get him some much-needed game-time.”
