I have a question about QPR+ ahead of #QPRMID

THE below FAQs have been produced to help supporters who have questions about the club’s online video streaming service, QPR+, ahead of Saturday's match against Middlesbrough (September 26th).

For the first month of the season at least, QPR+ will be live streaming all of Rangers’ league games and these FAQs will help you to understand who can watch the games and what steps you must take to be able to access them.

The topics covered in these FAQs are:

  • Who can access what on QPR+
  • How to create/ log into a QPR Club Account
  • How to activate a QPR+ season ticket voucher
  • How to purchase QPR+ match passes
  • How to watch a Live Stream
  • Other FAQs

Who is entitled to what for the start of the 2020/21 season?

All 2020/21 season ticket holders who purchase their season ticket by 5pm on Thursday 23rd September will be sent a QPR+ voucher ahead of Saturday (26th September) which, once activated, will enable them to watch live streams of QPR’s HOME and MIDWEEK AWAY matches for the first month of the season at least.

This comes following the recent, flexible agreement between Sky Sports and the EFL.

I am a season ticket holder who activated a QPR+ voucher before the Nottingham Forest  game on September 12th. Do I need to activate another voucher/the same voucher again ahead of the Middlesbrough game?

No, if you have already activated your QPR+ voucher then you do NOT need to activate it again. Simply log into your QPR Account on Saturday and watch the game in the same way you did for the Nottingham Forest match.

What should I do if I haven't received my voucher by Friday 25th September?

Please check your email inbox again and also your junk folder, as it may have filtered into there. If you still cannot find your voucher, it is likely that we do not have an up to date email address on file for you.

If your voucher is not in your inbox or junk folder, please contact the Box Office, who will have a list of all 2020/21 season ticket holders and the QPR+ voucher that has been attributed to them.

I am a season ticket holder. Was there a survey to fill out like last time to get my QPR+ access?

No, there was no survey to complete this time. All 2020/21 season ticket holders will be sent a QPR+ voucher.

Do season ticket holders who activated a voucher at the end of last season (2019/20) need to activate a new QPR+ voucher for the start of this season?

Yes, QPR+ vouchers that were used for the final nine matches of 2019/20 are no longer valid. 2020/21 Season ticket holders MUST activate their new voucher in order to watch games in 2020/21.

When can I activate my QPR+ voucher from?

QPR+ vouchers can be activated now and we would encourage all season ticket holders to activate theirs as soon as possible, so that we can provide any necessary support to those who encounter problems.

The club will not be able to assist supporters who are trying to activate vouchers on Saturday.

When do I need to buy my season ticket before in order to receive my QPR+ voucher in time for the Middlesbrough match on September 26th?

QPR fans must purchase their season ticket before 5pm on Wednesday 23rd September in order to receive their live streaming voucher in time for the weekend.

Fans who purchase a season ticket after 5pm on Wednesday 23rd September will be sent their QPR+ voucher as soon as possible, but will not be guaranteed to have it in time for Saturday 26th September.

I am not a season ticket holder. Do I get free access to QPR+?

No, the EFL do not permit clubs to provide free access to live matches to all supporters. Non-season ticket holders will have to purchase match passes in order to watch. More information on match passes is available to read below.

I live overseas and am a QPR+ video subscriber. Will I be able to watch as normal?

Yes, overseas QPR+ video subscribers will be able to log in and watch as they normally would.

Please note, the usual streaming restrictions in terms of matches being selected by Sky Sports and overseas broadcasters will still apply in 2020/21.

I am a season ticket holder and I already have a QPR+ account. Do I need to create a new account?

No, all season ticket holders can redeem the voucher they have been sent on their existing QPR+ account by following the steps below.

Creating/logging into a QPR Club Account

A QPR Club Account enables you to log into www.qpr.co.uk to access selected content on the QPR website, including the QPR+ streaming service.

How do I create a QPR Club Account?

You can create a QPR Club Account by clicking Login/Register in the top-right corner of the QPR website or by clicking HERE. A step-by-step guide with more help can be found HERE.

Do I need to create a new QPR Club Account for live streaming or can I use an existing one?

No, if you regularly log into the QPR website then you can use your normal credentials to log in. Please follow the steps below for information on how to activate your voucher.

How will I know if I already have a QPR Club Account?

After filling in your details on the registration page and pressing ‘Continue’ you will receive a red error message that says: ‘A QPR Account registered to that email address already exists’.

I know I have a QPR Club Account but I have forgotten my password. What should I do?

When logging in, there is an option to select ‘Forgotten Password?’. Click this, insert your email address and press ‘Continue’ and follow the steps to create a new password.

I don’t have an email address, what can I do?

Unfortunately, in order to create a QPR Club Account and access QPR+ you need an email address. Supporters can use the details of a relative or friend to create an account if required.

I have activated my voucher. I just tried to activate it again and now I’m getting an error message. Why is this?

This is because your voucher has already been activated. You only need to activate it once.

Do I have to redeem my voucher to the QPR Club Account associated or linked to my Season Ticket?

No, supporters can use any QPR Club Account to redeem their voucher. This does not need to be associated to your Season Ticket.

Other FAQs

I am a QPR+ live audio commentary subscriber. Will I have access to the stream?

If you are a QPR+ live audio commentary subscriber and also a season ticket holder then you will need to activate the voucher emailed to you in order to access the streams. To do this, please follow the steps above.

If you are a QPR+ live audio commentary subscriber but not a season ticket holder then you can access live commentary as normal. You will need to purchase match passes HERE to watch games.

Season ticket holders were provided with QPR+ access to all nine games, home and away, at the end of last season. Why has this changed to just home and midweek away games?

This was a decision made by the EFL, following a new flexible agreement made between themselves and Sky Sports.

What does ‘flexible agreement’ mean?

The agreement between the EFL and Sky Sports allows clubs to live stream their matches while games are being contested behind closed doors. As supporters begin to return to matches later in the year, this agreement may change, hence the use of the word flexible.

The agreement will first be reviewed at the start of October by the EFL and Sky Sports.
