CONOR Masterson netted the winner for Republic of Ireland U21s in their victory over Sweden on Tuesday evening.
The victory made it three wins from three games in U21 European Championship qualifying for the Young Boys In Green, who will next face Italy in October.
Tuesday’s clash was locked a 1-1 before Masterson headed home to put his team in front on 87 minutes. Troy Parrot then made the result safe by netting a third on 92 minutes.
England U21s beat Kosovo U21s 2-0 on Monday night thanks to Phil Foden’s double. Ebere Eze was an unused substitute for the clash.
Matt Smith’s Wales beat Belarus 1-0 at the Cardiff City Stadium on Monday night. Smith was an unused substitute for the game.
Northern Ireland put in a spirited display against Germany on Monday night but were unable to prevent themselves falling to a 2-0 defeat. Paul Smyth missed the match through injury.
Stephen Duke-McKenna played the final 30 minutes as Guyana were beaten 4-0 by Jamaica on Tuesday.
