QPR have completed the signing of England Under-21 full-back Jack Robinson from Liverpool.
Robinson has signed a four-year deal at Loftus Road after Rangers agreed an undisclosed fee with the Reds.
The 20 year-old will, however, spend the current 2014/15 campaign on loan at Championship outfit Huddersfield Town.
“Jack is one for the future. He’s a good young player,” Harry Redknapp told www.qpr.co.uk.
“He’ll continue his development at Huddersfield this season in the Championship, where I’m sure he’ll do well.”
Robinson – who has spent time on loan in the second tier with Wolverhampton Wanderers and Blackpool in recent years – has nine Under-21 caps to his name and has been named in the Young Lions latest squad for their forthcoming European Championship qualifying double-header against Lithuania and Moldova.
Robinson said: “It was an easy decision for me to come here for a new challenge.
“Hopefully I can do well here and establish myself as a Premier League player in the future.”
He added: “The loan spell at Huddersfield will no doubt serve me well for my future at QPR – I definitely need another season of games under my belt.
“I’m relishing the opportunity to go there and play, before I come back here and hopefully show what I’m capable of.”
