CHARLIE Kelman has returned from his loan spell at Gillingham.
The striker joined the Gills in August but made just six starts in all competitions during his time at the MEMS Priestfield Stadium.
The 20-year-old cannot officially be recalled until the transfer window opens in January and, therefore, is not eligible to play first-team fixtures for QPR until the New Year.
However, he can feature for QPR’s B Team and Under-23 side.
R’s boss Mark Warburton said: “Our job is to look at the best options for Charlie.
“You want players to go out and play but Charlie didn’t get enough pitch time. The loan was not a good loan for Charlie and we have to say was it the right choice at the time?
“Was it a case that it just didn’t work out? That happens sometimes.”
