Let us remember fans lost during pandemic

TRAGICALLY, more than 128,000 people have lost their lives to Covid-19 in the UK alone.

As we near a return to normality and stadia across the country operating at full capacity for the first time in 17 months, we want to make sure all those fans lost during the pandemic are remembered.

When the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium opens its doors to fans for our first league fixture against Millwall on 7th August, we will be remembering all those who are sadly no longer with us, whether they passed away due to Covid-19 or for other reasons.

We know it is going to be an emotional time, with some supporters returning to the ground without people who would always have been with them.

To make sure they are remembered, we will be putting images of all those R’s fans who have sadly passed away on our big screen at the stadium shortly before kick off.

If you would like your loved one remembered in this way, please send a hi-res image to [email protected] by 9pm on Tuesday 3rd August.
