Loan Rangers: Comley helps Colchester to point

GOALKEEPER Matt Ingram helped Northampton Town to their second win in a week thanks to a 3-1 victory against Portsmouth.

The R’s keeper helped Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s side claim all three points against Pompey to lift them to 17th in the League One table.

Ingram joined the Cobblers on loan until the end of season on deadline day and linked up with his former manager at the Sixfields stadium.

Meanwhile, Eberechi Eze made his full League debut for Wycombe Wanderers in their 0-0 draw at Mansfield Town last night.

The tricky attacker was handed a start by Chairboys boss Gareth Ainsworth following his substitute appearance against Notts County on Saturday.

And the 18-year-old completed an impressive 90 minutes as the League Two side claimed a solid point on the road.

However, R’s teammate Jack Williams was not in the Wycombe matchday squad again and played for Rangers Under-23s 24-hours earlier as per the terms of his loan.

Brandon Comley’s unbeaten start to his loan spell at Colchester United continued following the U’s 1-1 draw with Chesterfield last night.

Comley completed the full 90 minutes for the Essex side as Brandon Hanlan scored eight minutes from time to secured a point for the League Two outfit.

His Under-23s teammate Brandon Adams was a second half substitute for Linfield in their 2-1 Irish Premier League defeat as Crusaders.

The QPR forward replaced Louis Rooney in the 64th minute for the third placed side.

Finally, Under-23s defender Alex Finney was an unused substitute for Maidstone in their 1-0 win at Eastleigh.
