GOALKEEPER Seny Dieng played the full 90 minutes for Doncaster Rovers on Saturday, as victory over Peterborough United saw them move up to seventh in Sky Bet League One.
Victory for Rovers ended Peterborough’s seven-game undefeated run, with James Coopinger and Kieran Sadlier’s first half goals wrapping up victory for Doncaster. They face a daunting trip to early high flyers Coventry City next weekend.
Striker Aramide Oteh played the final eight minutes in Bradford City’s 3-1 home win over Carlisle United, Oteh replaced goal scorer Harry Pritchard to help see out a vital victory for the Bantams. They head to Scunthorpe United next week.
Neither Gilies Phillips or Paul Smyth featured for Wycombe Wanderers in their 1-0 win over Portsmouth on Saturday. Philips was an unused sub for the Chairboys, whilst Smyth is still side lined with an injury.
Charlie Rowan was an unused substitute for Barnet in their in 4-2 defeat away to Halifax on Saturday, whilst Tyla Dickinson also didn’t feature for his work experience club Hendon FC, who were victorious over Deeping Rangers on the weekend.
North of the border, Osman Kakay played the full 90 minutes in Partick Thistle’s 3-0 home defeat to Dunfermline. In addition to this Niko Hamalainen also played the full 90 away to Celtic, which his loan side lost 3-1 at Celtic Park.
