PAUL Smyth and Giles Phillips have a date at Wembley Stadium to look forward to after Wycombe Wanderers sealed a place in the Sky Bet League One play-off final on Monday night.
The Chairboys – where Smyth and Phillips are on loan at – beat Fleetwood Town 6-3 over two legs to secure their spot at the home of English football.
Wycombe won the away leg 4-1 last week and, on Monday, they twice came from behind to draw 2-2 at Adams Park.
Both players were unused substitutes for the second-leg match but both will be eligible for selection for the game at Wembley.
Their opposition for the match at Wembley will be Oxford United, who beat Portsmouth in the semi-finals, and the winner will earn a place in the Championship for next season.
The club announced last week that Phillips will leave QPR when his contract expires at the end of the season.
