EBERECHI Eze played 74 minutes for Wycombe Wanderers as manager Gareth Ainsworth celebrated 5-years in charge of the Chairboys with a 2-1 win at rivals Colchester United.
R’s youngster Eze was replaced 16 minutes from time at the Weston Homes Community Stadium.
The 19-year-old was making his third appearance for Wycombe, who are 10th in League Two following the start of the season.
Fellow QPR teammate Jack Williams was an unused substitute in Essex.
Their was also a familiar face in the matchday squad for the U’s with QPR Under-23s teammate Brandon Comley an unused substitute for Colchester.
Meanwhile, Matt Ingram suffered defeat with Northampton Town after the Cobblers went down 1-0 against Bradford City.
The R’s keeper made his fifth appearance for Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s League Out outfit.
He was unable to prevent them from suffering a second consecutive defeat. Town are 20th in the table.
Elsewhere, striker Brandon Adams made a fleeting substitute appearance for Linfield in the Irish Premier League as he came on for the final two minutes of their 4-1 win against Warrenpoint Town.
Defender Alex Finney was an unused substitute for Maidstone in their 2-2 draw with Gateshead in the National League.
