Loan Rangers: Eze helps Wycombe continue run

EBERECHI Eze helped Wycombe Wanderers record a 9th consecutive home win in all competitions.

The R’s youngster played 85 minutes for Gareth Ainsworth’s side as Luke O’Nien’s 54th minute goal secured victory against Chesterfield in League Two.

Wanderers fine run of form sees them just two points outside the automatic promotion spots.

Fellow QPR Under-23s player Jack Williams was not in the Chairboys matchday squad.

Meanwhile, Matt Ingram’s shoulder injury continues to keep the QPR keeper out of the Northampton Town side.

On Friday night Brandon Comley helped Colchester United record a 3-2 victory at Swindon Town.

Midfielder Comley, making his 17th appearance of the season for the U’s, played all 90 minutes at the County Ground.

Elsewhere, Alex Finney helped Maidstone United record a 4-0 FA Trophy win at Torquay United.

The Under-23s centre-back played the full 90 minutes in The Stones first round win at Plainmoor.

Finally, Carden Genovesi made his debut for Whitehawk in their FA Trophy first round defeat against St. Albans City.

After moving the the National League South side on a work experience loan on Friday, the R’s Under-18 captain was handed his first start.

Genovesi played 90 minutes in the 2-1 defeat.
