MATT Ingram helped Northampton Town to a vital win against Southend United on Saturday.
The R’s stopper played the full 90 minutes for the Cobblers in their 3-1 victory at the Sixfields Stadium.
Making his 20th appearance the 24-year-old was only beaten from the penalty spot.
Despite victory, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s side are still points from safety.
Meanwhile, midfielder Brandon Comley was substituted after 64 minutes of Colchester United’s 4-1 defeat against Cheltenham Town on Saturday.
The U’s suffered a rare home reverse despite taking a 40th minute lead. However, when Kyel Reid was sent off just before half-time visitors Cheltenham took full advantage after the break scoring four goals.
Comley has made 22 appearances for Colchester with his current loan deal set to expire in a weeks time.
Elsewhere, striker Brandon Adams was a second half substitute for Linfield in their 5-0 Irish Cup win against Glebe Rangers. Adams came on in the 62nd minute as the holders kicked off their defence.
Under-18s captain Caden Genovesi played 90 minutes for Whitehawk in their 2-2 with Bognor Regis Town in the National League South whilst goalkeeper Seny Dieng has now returned to Harlington following the completion of his loan spell.
Finally, keeper Conor Hudnott played for Staines Town in their 3-1 win at home to Burgess Hill Town in the Bostik Premier division.
