UNDER-23S defender Alex Finney scored an extra-time goal to help Maidstone United through to the first round proper of the FA Cup.
Maidstone sealed a 3-1 fourth qualifying round victory against Enfield Town to book their place in the next first round proper.
Finney, making only his third start for the National League side, put Maidstone 2-1 up in extra-time against Enfield Town before Jai Reason added a third to make sure of the victory.
Maidstone will now head to League Two side Cheltenham Town next month.
Meanwhile, R’s goalkeeper Matt Ingram helped Northampton Town pick up a point at Rochdale on Tuesday evening as the Cobblers secured a 2-2 draw.
Ingram, making his tenth appearance of his loan spell with the League One outfit, was powerless to prevent their hosts racing into a two goal lead after 62 minutes.
However, a comeback in the final 20 minutes for Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s side saw the Northamptonshire side return to the Sixfields Stadium with a point.
Town are currently 23rd in the table and travel to Gillingham this weekend.

QPR Under-23s teammate Jack Williams was not in the Wycombe matchday squad.
Finally, Midfielder Brandon Comley made his 8th appearance of his loan spell with Colchester United.
Comley completed 90 minutes for the Essex side as they sealed a 2-1 away win at Newport County.
