Massimo Luongo shortlisted for PFA POTM award

QPR midfielder Massimo Luongo has been nominated in the PFA Bristol Street Motors Championship Player of the Month Award for October.

In a month which saw the R's remain unbeaten, with two wins and two draws from their four Championship fixtures, Luongo - in the role of stand-in skipper in the absence of captain Nedum Onuoha – excelled in the heart of Ian Holloway’s midfield engine-room.

Indeed, no player made more tackles (18) in October than the Australian midfielder, who inspired Rangers to eight points from a possible 12, including victories against high-flying Wolverhampton Wanderers and Sheffield United at Loftus Road.
