EVERYONE at QPR is hugely grateful to all the incredible NHS staff and key workers – and we want to acknowledge #RHeroes!
Since we highlighted our first nominees and second nominees, we’ve received more stories and photos of R’s fans who are working hard to help protect us during the coronavirus outbreak.
You can nominate yours by emailing [email protected] or by using #RHeroes on social media.
Meet more of #RHeroes below …
Chris Waite nominated his dad Kevin Waite. A bus manager, Kevin is keeping buses going for NHS staff and other key workers. He works so hard to keep things going in Surrey. ‘We are all proud of him for what he does!’

Lindsay Hazell nominates her husband Mark Hazell, who along with his son is a massive QPR fan. Mark works at Harefield Hospital intensive care unit and has done for 16 years. He always goes above and beyond to help everyone and is loved by colleagues, patients and their relatives.
Sadly Mark has a rare genetic condition known as Osteogenesisimperfecta (brittle bones) which their three children also have. Despite suffering from daily aches and pains which prevents him from playing football, he still follows QPR avidly and always has a smile for all the family when he gets home!
From everyone at QPR to every single one of #RHeroes …
THANK YOU!
