Holloway hopes Borysiuk has QPR future

QPR boss Ian Holloway is hopeful that Ariel Borysiuk can have a future at Loftus Road.

Speaking after Monday nights pre-season friendly against FC Union Berlin the R’s manager praised the Poland international.

Borysiuk was loaned out to Polish outfit Lechia Gdańsk in January following Holloway’s return to Loftus Road just six months after moving to the Club.

The 25-year-old made 14 appearances, scoring one goal, in the Ekstraklasa before returning to Harlington earlier this summer for pre-season.

And Ollie admitted that the tough tackling midfielder could be like a new signing for the R’s.

“I’m delighted to have Ariel Borysiuk back,” Holloway told www.qpr.co.uk.

“I like his calmness and the way he passes the ball and the way he moves. It was the fact he spoke hardly any English. Pawel came through that though and he’s helping Ariel now.

“He deserves the right for me to keep him and add him to my squad. For me that is like a new signing.”
