MICHAEL Petrasso’s Canada sealed a 1-1 draw with Costa Rica in the early hours of Wednesday morning in the CONCACAF 2017 Gold Cup.
The QPR winger played the full 90 minutes for the Canucks in Texas as they secured a point at the BBVA Compass Stadium.
Petrasso, once again playing at right-back, made his second appearance of the tournament.
Canada took the lead after 26 minutes when Alphonoso Davies turned in Scott Arfield’s cross.
However, Costa Rica struck back three minutes before half-time when Francisco Calvo levelled up proceedings.
Neither side were able to force a winner in the second half meaning that Canada top Group A after two games on four points.
Petrasso’s side remain in Texas where they will take on Honduras at the Toyota Stadium, Frisco on Saturday, 15th July (3am BST).
