QPR will travel to Portugal for a behind-closed-doors pre-season training camp in late June.
Ian Holloway's squad will be put through their paces on a seven-day camp on the Algarve, almost immediately upon returning from their summer break.
Holloway will run the rule over his R's squad at the Cascade Wellness & Lifestyle Resort in Lagos, for what promises to be an intense first week of pre-season training.
Set in a unique cliff-top location overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the resort is widely regarded as having Southern Europe’s finest football facilities.
Holloway, who has taken both Blackpool and Millwall to the same facility in the past, told www.qpr.co.uk: “I'm delighted we're going back to a place that I'm familiar with - and I know is absolutely perfect for a pre-season training camp.
"It'll be work, work, work work, work. There are no games on this trip so it’s not one for the fans to have to worry about booking anything up – everything we do will be behind-closed-doors because the first week of pre-season is so crucial.
"This is purely a camp for the lads to work three-times-a-day to get some important early work in the tank.
"I got where I was as a player through good fitness levels – and that all came from really good pre-season campaigns.
"It's a wonderful venue and I'm already looking forward to working the boys hard."
