THE QPR squad will return for pre-season training on Friday morning, as the countdown to the new season gathers pace.
The R’s players will begin their pre-season with a day of testing at Allianz Park tomorrow, ahead of our training camp to Portugal, which commences on Sunday.
The squad will be sized up by the club’s nutrition and sports science teams, as well as Middlesex University staff, as Ian Holloway looks to get his side in shape for the new 2017/18 campaign.
Holloway spoke to www.qpr.co.uk about the importance of this upcoming period, commenting: “Pre-season is vital.
“I can't tell you how important it is really. It’s a massive period for us.
“All the players had their personal plans over the summer break. Some had a week off. Some a little bit longer.
“But I'm expecting them all to come back in good condition.
“This period is vital if we want to have a positive season.”
