OUR midweek fixtures with Preston and Barnsley will now be kicking off at the originally-agreed time of 7.45pm.
We are at home to Preston on Wednesday 21st October, while we visit Barnsley on Tuesday 27th October before hosting the Tykes on Wednesday 3rd March.
The EFL originally agreed to the club’s request – together with Preston and Barnsley – for these matches to be moved forward to 7pm, provided the games were contested behind closed doors.
However, their stance has since changed and the matches will now once again take place at 7.45pm.
QPR CEO Lee Hoos said: “I can only apologise to our supporters for the back and forth with this.
“We sought and were granted permission by the EFL to bring the kick-off times forward.
“However, we have been informed that as the matches are part of the Sky red button package the kick offs will need to be at 7.45pm.”
