QPR’s Sky Bet Championship away fixture against Preston North End has been selected for live coverage by Sky Sports.
There will be no change in date to the fixture, which will be contested on Wednesday 24th February, but it will now return to the later kick-off time of 7.45pm.
Despite the live Sky selection, the match WILL still be covered by 2020/21 season holders’ QPR+ vouchers, as per the ‘midweek away game’ agreement between the EFL and Sky Sports.
However, the Sky selection does also mean that the club are now no longer permitted to stream Preston v QPR to non-season ticket holders in the UK & Ireland, as per EFL broadcast rules.
The only non-season ticket holders able to watch Preston v QPR live on QPR+ are those who live in countries NOT covered by the EFL’s global television deal.
Overseas QPR+ video subscribers will only be able to listen to live audio commentary of Preston v QPR, unless they are in a country not covered by the EFL’s global television deal. The countries where QPR+ can stream Preston v QPR to non-season ticket holders are known as EFL Dark Markets and are listed below.
