SATURDAY is QPR Community Day – and the R’s will be dressed for the occasion!
Steve McClaren’s men will be showing their support by wearing a special edition one-off embroidered shirt celebrating QPR in the Community Trust’s 10th anniversary.
The shirts – which will be auctioned off in aid of the Trust – will be worn for the Championship clash with Bolton Wanderers at Loftus Road.
Before the game, over 50 supporters including Andy Sinton and Marc Bircham will be walking 13 miles from the club's Harlington training ground for #TigerFeet10 in aid of QPR Tiger Cubs – our football team for children and young people with Down’s Syndrome.
Meanwhile, unsung community heroes will be presented on the pitch at half-time.
“It’s a real honour to have a whole match dedicated to the community,” Andy Evans, Trust CEO told www.qpr.co.uk. “Not just the work of QPR in the Community Trust, but our unsung heroes in the community who are also being honoured.
“To have our 10-year anniversary logo on the QPR shirt is very, very special for all of us.
“The shirts are a one-off, a unique piece of history and the money raised from the auction will go to support projects within the Trust.”
