QUEENS PARK RANGERS are delighted to announce that supporter Rob Keytes who pledged to raise money for legend Stan Bowles has hit his target.
Keytes who had been running 10km every day since the 9th January has finally hit his target of £1,000 all in support of arguably our finest every player.
Bowles, who made 315 appearances for the Hoops, scoring 97 goals between 1972 and 1979, was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2015.
After reaching his target, Keytes told www.qpr.co.uk: “I'm so pleased to say that after completing close to 1500 kilometres and with much appreciated help from the amazing QPR family, I have reached and exceeded the target of £1000, in fact I eventually raised £1075.
“The love and support I have received from the club; the amazing generosity of the Rangers fans and the wider public has been amazing.
“Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.”
