QPR LEGENDS showed their support for Mental Health Awareness Week by joining a host of household names at Loftus Road for Sunday’s Sellebrity Soccer match.
‘Team Bircham’ took on ‘Team Shittu’ in W12 as former R’s favourites Marc Bircham and Danny Shittu skippered the sides which also included Lee Cook, Martin Rowlands and Tommy Williams.
QPR Women's Courtnay Ward-Chambers also represented Rangers, scoring twice on the day as ‘Team Bircham’ triumphed 9-6!
Also putting on their boots for charity were the likes of singers Shayne Ward, Lee Latchford Evans (Steps), Locksmith and Kesi (Rudimental) and F2 freestyler Jeremy Lynch.
In collaboration with the Lucy Rayner Foundation, the match marked the start of Mental Health Week as the charity – set up after the Rayner family’s daughter Lucy took her own life in 2012 – aims to raise awareness of mental health in young adults.
Ian Randall was there to capture all the action.
