QPR partners help key workers

QPR not only prides itself on being a community club, we also place great value in working with companies who share that philosophy.

In the current climate, this has been perfectly demonstrated by a number of companies we have a close association with.

The LeoVegas Group, who own and operate Bet UK (our front of shirt sponsor), are providing lunches to front line staff in the following sectors: doctors, nurses, military, police and pharmacies. They will also be making a donation to the World Health Organisation.

Ashville Aggregates and Ashville Concrete (our back-of-shirt and front-of-training-wear sponsor) have offered free use of their fleet of vehicles for any urgent community or NHS requirements.

Ground Construction Limited (GCL - our Official Construction Partner) have closed all their sites and donated all of their stock of personnel protective equipment to the NHS and care homes.

Errea (our Official Technical Kit Partner) is donating special coveralls to the Parma branch of the Yellow Cross (a volunteer emergency medical service). These overalls, created with the use of nanotechnologies, are specially designed for health workers dealing with the Covid-19 emergency.

Skyex (our Official Partner) have offered their fleet of 250 cars to help the most vulnerable by offering click and collect collections, as well as picking up prescriptions. They have also reduced the cost of their NHS contracts.

Academia (our Technology and Social Media partner) have been working with the Intensive Care Unit at St Thomas' Hospital. They have provided technology for families of critically ill patients so they can virtually visit their loved ones and communicate with the intensive care team safely and securely.

QPR CEO Lee Hoos added: “It is at challenging times like this that you really see what people, and companies, are all about.

“Everyone has their own individual economic difficulties right now, but here we have companies looking to see how they can help others, help the country, help the NHS to overcome their battles.

“As a club we are immensely proud to be associated with companies such as these.”
