QPR will head to Portugal for a behind-closed-doors pre-season training camp in June.
For the second year running, the R’s will get their preparation for the new season started with a week of work on the Algarve.
The squad will once again be staying at the Cascade Wellness & Lifestyle Resort in Lagos, which is widely regarded as having southern Europe’s finest football facilities.
Director of Football Les Ferdinand told www.qpr.co.uk: “As you can imagine, pre-season training camps are organised many months in advance.
“In this instance, it was agreed once again by the club that this would be the ideal venue for the squad to prepare for the new season.
“The resort offers fantastic facilities and is the perfect location for the new manager to come in and work hard with the players.
“Similarly to last year, this will be a closed training camp. There are no games, it’s all about the players building their fitness levels up for the season ahead.”
