QPR have exercised an early option to sign Pawel Wszolek from Hellas Verona.
After impressing on loan during the first half of the season, Rangers have exercised an option to sign the Polish attacker for an undisclosed fee, triggering a deal until the summer of 2019.
Speaking exclusively to www.qpr.co.uk, Wszolek – who has scored three goals so far this term – expressed his delight at the deal.
“I am really pleased that there is a permanent deal with QPR,” he said.
“These last few months with QPR have been very enjoyable and I am really enjoying my football under the new manager.
“He has given me a licence to express myself and show what I am about as a player, and that is all you can ask for.
“I am really excited about the future with QPR – and hopefully we can build and progress as a club during my time here.”
QPR boss Ian Holloway welcomed the news, adding: “It’s brilliant, brilliant news – just fantastic for QPR.
“Pawel has been wonderful for me since I’ve been back here so I’m absolutely delighted we’ve exercised the option.
“He’s a joy to work with every day. He’s a got a great footballing brain and it’s a wonderful, wonderful feeling to see him in full flight in the Hoops.
“What an amazing feeling it is as a manager to come in, not know someone as well as you’d like, and see them flourish.
“I can’t wait to see him go from strength-to-strength with us.”
