QPR fans are instructed NOT to attempt to get onto the pitch at the end of our final home fixture of the season against Birmingham City next Saturday.
The club, the manager and the players would like to thank fans for their fantastic support this season with the traditional lap of appreciation.
However, we have been informed by the police and local authorities that the lap of appreciation will NOT happen if fans enter the pitch – with any attempt to enter the playing surface deemed a criminal offence that could lead to sanctions against individuals.
If supporters enter the field of play, the club has been warned it may face a range of possible sanctions that could have serious implications.
We cannot be clearer – any pitch incursion will result in the players, including those who are set to depart at the end of the season, leaving the pitch and NOT being allowed to come back out to show their appreciation to you, the fans.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
Come on you R’s!
