QPR’s Sky Bet Championship home fixture against Derby County on Saturday 23rd January 2021 has been selected for an overseas broadcast.
There is no change in date or time for the match, meaning it will still kick-off at 3pm.
What does this mean for QPR+?
UK & Ireland-based supporters
QPR v Derby County WILL still be covered by 2020/21 season ticket holders’ vouchers. Season ticket holders will be able to watch QPR v Derby County in the same way they normally do for home games.
Non-season ticket holders in the UK & Ireland WILL still be able to purchase match passes for QPR v Derby County. The international broadcast will have no impact on any fan trying to watch the game in the UK & Ireland.
Match passes for QPR v Derby County are priced at £10, with the pricing being set by the EFL.
Overseas supporters
Due to the overseas broadcast, the club are now only permitted to live stream QPR v Derby County in countries not covered by the EFL’s global television deal. The countries not covered by the global television deal are known as EFL Dark Market countries.
As per EFL broadcast rules, annual/monthly overseas video subscribers will now only be able to listen to live audio commentary of QPR v Derby County, unless they are in an EFL Dark Market country.
