QPR have welcomed a new Head Physio to the club with the appointment of Aaron Harris, while Dr Imtiaz Ahmad will oversee the medical department as part of the restructure.
Harris moves to Loftus Road after spending eleven years at Tottenham Hotspur as Head Academy Physio.
Ahmad, meanwhile, is promoted to Head of Medical Services after working at QPR for the past two years as Club Doctor.
Ahmad previously worked with the England youth squads before joining Millwall where he stayed for five years prior to a switch to Tottenham, for whom he worked for nine years. He is also the Chairman of the Football Association Medical Society (SE).
QPR Director of Football Les Ferdinand told www.qpr.co.uk:“Aaron is a highly qualified individual who was really well respected at Tottenham and his arrival is a big plus for us.”
He added: “Imtiaz has done a great job as Club Doctor and it, therefore, makes sense for him to have a role where he can oversee the department.
“We are very happy that he has agreed to his new position.”
Former Head of Medical Services Matt May has left Loftus Road to join Cardiff City. Everyone at the club thanks Matt for his services and wishes him well in the future.
