Season Ticket update

AS we continue to prepare for the potential return of fans to Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium, the club would like to provide the following guidance.

With the nature of COVID-19, the club is working as best as it can to provide clarity but due to the regularly-changing governmental guidance, the information outlined below may be required to change at very short notice.

We appreciate the uncertainly for Season Ticket holders is frustrating and are hugely grateful for the patience and understanding that has been shown throughout this period.

As things stand, supporters are anticipated to return to stadia under a reduced capacity from 2nd October, meaning our fixture against Preston North End on Wednesday 21st October will represent the first opportunity for QPR supporters to do so in W12.

As we prepare for this, a match ballot system will be used to select which supporters can attend each fixture. Details on how you enter the match ballot will be announced soon.

Please note, due to the limited capacity restrictions, only 2020/21 Season Ticket holders can enter the match ballot at this time.

2020/21 Season Tickets will remain on sale until 2nd October 2020. Again, due to the limited capacity restrictions, it is unfortunately necessary to take them off sale after this date.

If you are a 2019/20 Season Ticket holder and have not renewed for this season, please don’t worry! Your seat will be retained for you to renew in 2021/22.

We are determined to accommodate as many 2020/21 Season Ticket holders as we can under the limited capacity restrictions so if a 2020/21 Season Ticket holder is unsuccessful in the match ballot, they will be prioritised for the following fixture.

If you have renewed for 2020/21 but now wish to receive a full refund, you can do so by contacting [email protected]

Please be aware, refunds for 2020/21 Season Tickets will only be available until 2nd October 2020.

For the avoidance of doubt, if you request a refund – don’t worry! Your seat will be retained for you to renew in 2021/22.

As we prepare for the match ballot system, we would expect 2020/21 Season Ticket holders to enter the ballot for at least 50% of fixtures while current restrictions remain.

If you do not intend to enter the match ballot for at least 50% of fixtures, you are advised to request a full refund by 2nd October 2020.

Season Ticket holders will receive a pro-rata ticketing credit for all 2020/21 league games they are unable to attend due to fixtures being played behind closed doors or due to limited capacity.

The pro-rata credit will be calculated as 1/23rd of the Season Ticket purchase price for each fixture you cannot attend. The pro-rata credit will be released to Season Ticket holders at the end of the 2020/21 season. The credit can be used against future ticket purchases or be returned directly into your bank account.

Please note, if you are successful in the match ballot and do not attend that particular fixture, you will not receive a refund for that game.

Season Ticket holders will receive a pro-rata refund for all matches they are unable to attend due to being unsuccessful in match ballots.

Please be aware, in order to prevent people abusing the system to simply gain free access to the QPR+ streaming service without any intention of attending fixtures, supporters who enter less than 50% of available match ballots WILL NOT be entitled to a pro-rata refund on their Season Ticket.

Should the return of fans be cut short due to changes in guidance, the club will consider the 50% ratio appropriately to ensure well-intentioned fans are not prevented from receiving appropriate refunds.

As a reminder, if you do not intend to enter at least 50% of match ballots, you are advised to claim a full refund on your Season Ticket by 2nd October 2020.

Once again, the club understands it is a hugely frustrating time for supporters and we thank you for your incredible patience throughout this challenging process as we look to bring as many fans back to Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium as government guidelines and safety will permit.
