SENY Dieng has agreed a new two-year deal at QPR, keeping him at the club until 2021.
The 24-year-old goalkeeper has been with the R’s since 2017. Last season he spent the first half of the campaign on loan at Stevenage and the second half of the season in the Scottish Premier League with Dundee.
Dieng made 16 appearances for the League Two side and a further 18 in Scotland with the Dark Blues.
After penning his new contract, Dieng told www.qpr.co.uk: “I am delighted to sign a new deal.
“I have really enjoyed my time here already so am very happy to extend my stay.
“My recent loan spells were vital for me. It gave me the opportunity to play regular first-team football and now I am ready to kick on here.”
Following the summer arrival of Liam Kelly from Livingston as well as the presence of Joe Lumley, Dieng knows he faces a battle on his hands to secure the position between the posts at QPR but that is a test he is relishing.
“They are both great goalkeepers but I am up for the challenge,” he added.
