Shodipo gets Ireland Under-21 call

QPR youngster Olamide Shodipo has been called-up for the Republic of Ireland Under-21 squad today.

The R’s winger has been selected by Ireland for two international friendly matches against Czech Republic and Slovakia this month.

Shodipo, who has made nine appearances this season for Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s first team squad, has been called-up for the double header at the La Manga Training Centre, Spain.

The Irish face the Czech Republic on 12th November before taking on Slovakia on 15th November.
