SIX QPR players have become official ambassadors for QPR Trust.
Dominic Ball, Geoff Cameron, Ilias Chair, Joe Lumley, Conor Masterson and Angel Rangel have all pledged their support to the club’s charitable arm.
Andy Evans, CEO of QPR Trust, told www.qpr.co.uk: “A lot of the work we do is reliant on the power of football to engage our participants so the support of the first team is paramount to our success.
“To have six of the team become ambassadors is a massive statement and not only says a lot about the players, it says a lot about our club.
“I am immensely proud and would like to say a heartfelt thank you to Dominic, Geoff, Ilias, Joe, Conor and Angel.”
The players will be working across areas which include sports participation, education, health, food poverty and homelessness.
QPR CEO Lee Hoos added: “This is such a fantastic gesture by the players.
“We often ask members of the squad to attend events as part of their role but this goes beyond that – these guys have optionally put themselves forward to show how much they care for our club, for the community we are in and the wellbeing of those in our locality.
“I hope QPR supporters feel proud of the players who are representing their club.”
