PAUL Smyth became only the sixth QPR player to have scored on their international debut when he netted for Northern Ireland on Saturday.
The R’s attacker hit the back of the net 194 seconds into his first appearance for the Irish in their 2-1 win against South Korea.
Smyth came off the substitute bench to fire home the winner in the 86th minute to cap a memorable 2018 for the youngster.
He added his name to the QPR history books along with five other former Rangers players to have completed the feat in their careers whilst at Loftus Road.
Of those to have represented QPR they included former R’s greats Les Ferdinand and Don Givens.
