EBERE Eze, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Mide Shodipo, Aramide Oteh and Charlie Owens will all be competing in Wednesday evening’s QPR eSports FIFA 20 competition.
The tournament is taking place on both PS4 and Xbox One and the Rangers quintet will all be taking part in the PS4 version of the competition.
Entry is priced at just £10. Fans can compete from the comfort of their own homes and the prize for each tournament is £100 plus a signed QPR football.
What is the competition?
Players will compete from the comfort of their own homes in a straight knockout competition on FIFA 20. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One competitions will run simultaneously and up to 32 spaces are available for each console.
The tournaments will be contested in one evening (Wednesday 11th March) and will run in ‘Kick-Off’ mode.
Kick-off mode means that players simply need to select a club or nation to play with. Players will be able to select the club/nation they use on a game-by-game basis.
This will be the second FIFA competition that QPR have organised this season, having hosted an Ultimate Team one in November.
When is the competition?
The whole tournament will take place on the evening of Wednesday 11th March. The first round of matches will kick-off at approximately 7.30pm. Each match will last for around 10 minutes and the following rounds will kick-off on the hour and at half past the hour. Kick-off times may be subject to change.
How can I enter?
There are only 32 spaces available for each tournament (Play Station 4 and Xbox One), so you should act fast to secure your place! Spaces are only available to book online. They cannot be purchased in person or by phone.
Who can enter?
The competition is on general sale to all QPR fans and fans from the wider football community.
QPR fans are, of course, welcome to invite their friends to book a place in the competition.
Those under the age of 18 must have the consent of their parents and/or guardians before purchasing a ticket*.
What do I need to do after buying my ticket?
After you purchase your ticket for the competition, you will receive an email that confirms your receipt and next steps.
You will need to download the ‘VPG Gaming’ app and create an account. After doing this, you can add your PS4/Xbox One gamertag to your VPG account. Full details will be available to read in the email that you receive.
Please note, your ‘Next Steps’ email will not be sent immediately.
*QPR would like to remind its supporters that it takes the safeguarding and welfare of all of fans, and particularly children, extremely seriously.
There are potential risks attached to online gaming that include cyber bullying and addiction. Online gaming enables players to communicate with their online teammates and opponents and QPR would ask fans to only engage in conversation if they feel comfortable doing so. QPR would also advise fans to not meet up with people they have only previously engaged with online. Parents are also asked to ensure that their children stay safe online.
If you are ever caused distress by online gaming, please inform someone that you trust immediately. You can also contact the club's Safeguarding Manager Janet Barr via email [email protected].
