THREE former QPR players will be inducted into The Forever R's Club on Saturday.
Rangers play host to high-flying Bristol City at Loftus Road two days before Christmas, on an afternoon which will see John Collins, Karl Ready and Tony Thorpe join our ex-players' association.
Inside-forward Collins came up through the youth ranks at QPR, signing professional terms in August 1959.
He went on to make 193 appearances for the R's, scoring 56 goals.
Like Collins, centre-half Ready progressed from youth to first team level, making 246 appearances and scoring 11 goals.
During his time at Loftus Road, he also won five full caps for Wales.
Thorpe, meanwhile, scored 11 goals in 46 appearances for the Hoops, joining the club in 2003 before departing in 2005.
The trio will be inducted by Club Ambassador Andy Sinton at half-time on Saturday, prior to taking part in a Q&A.
