Three Up, Three Down: Millwall

Ahead of the new 2017/18 Sky Bet Championship we take a look at another of QPR's new opponents, Millwall.

Team: Millwall
Manager: Neil Harris
Nickname: The Lions

Stadium: The Den
Capacity: 20,146
Miles from Loftus Road (round-trip): 22

Position: 6th (League One)

2016/17: Millwall began this season very slowly by their own high standards and at the turn of the year it looked highly unlikely that they would reach the play-offs. But an excellent run of form in 2017, which included nine clean sheets and a positive run in the FA Cup, saw the Lions sneak into sixth place . They defeated Scunthorpe in the Play-Off semi-finals and were then the surprise winners against Bradford in the final.

One to watch: Lee Gregory – After regularly finding the net in the last two seasons in League One, Gregory will want to prove that he can do it at a higher level. A scorer of all types of goals, his partnership with Steve Morison was vital for the Lions in securing promotion.
