JOHAN Raslan and Nazir Razak have been appointed Directors of QPR Holdings Ltd, the holding company of Queens Park Rangers Football Club.
The duo join Tony Fernandes, Amit Bhatia, Ruben Gnanalingam and Kamarudin Bin Meranun on the Board of Directors at Loftus Road.
Raslan is a Malaysian chartered accountant of Malaysian-British ancestry. He was Chairman of PricewaterhouseCoopers Malaysia from 2004 until he retired in 2012. He has been a member of the board of AMMB Holdings Berhad, a financial services group in Malaysia, since December 2014. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and an Eisenhower Fellow.
Razak is the Chairman of CIMB Group Holdings Berhad, a major Asean financial services group. He became Chairman in September 2014, after serving as the CEO from 1999. He is also a Director of Khazanah Nasional Berhad, a member of the Investment Panel of the Employee Provident Fund (EPF) and an International Advisory Board member of the Blavatnik School of Government at University of Oxford. Razak also serves as Chairman of the World Economic Forum Asean Regional Business Council.
