Weather fails to dampen R's spirits

HUNDREDS of QPR fans braved the inclement weather conditions in W12 to attend today's Open Day at Loftus Road.

R's supporters turned out in great numbers, as boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink put his players through their paces at an open session ahead of Sunday's Sky Bet Championship opener against Leeds United.

The squad trained for 90 minutes in the pouring rain, before spending time mixing with the fans to sign autographs and pose for selfies!

Speaking to www.qpr.co.uk, Hasselbaink paid a special thanks to the fans for attending, commenting: "The supporters were remarkable.

"The weather was terrible, but that didn't put off the fans and it was so good to see so many smiling faces.

"As a family club, days like today are very important. We're always delighted to give something back to the fantastic QPR supporters.”

It was so good to see so many smiling faces.
