Wszolek second half sub in Poland defeat

QPR winger Pawel Wszolek played 45 minutes of Poland’s 1-0 defeat against Mexico on Monday evening.

Wszolek, who made a rare appearance for the Polish national side, came on after half-time to replace Artur Jędrzejczyk in Gdansk to collect his 11th cap.

However, the R’s attacker was unable to inspire a second half comeback after Mexico forward Raúl Jiménez scored the only goal of the game in the 12th minute.

Tczew born Wszolek will be hoping to earn a place in Poland’s 23-man squad for the World Cup in Russia next year following their qualification for the 2018 finals in October.
