Congratulations to our Race Europe Team

THROUGHOUT March, members of QPR in the Community Trust’s Race Europe team have battled it out against 13 other London clubs in this year’s Race Europe event.

With the month now at a close, we are delighted to announce that our team were able to clock up an impressive 5,344 miles to finish in a fantastic first place in a very competitive Non-Cycling League table.

We have seen members of our team running, walking and skiing in all weathers - all in aid of QPR in the Community Trust - and we wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone who took part and have helped us raise vital funds during these tough times.

Andy Evans, CEO of QPR in the Community Trust, told www.qpr.co.uk: “I just wanted to say a huge thank you and congratulations to everyone who took part.

“To be able to come out on top against some really competitive teams shows the huge amount of hard work everyone has put in - and I am delighted.

“These types of events showcase the amazing community spirit that we have throughout our fantastic fanbase and the fact everyone has put so much effort in, all in aid of the Trust, is hugely humbling.”

A huge congratulations to everyone who has taken part and from everyone here at QPR in the Community Trust, thank you once again.

The event remains open for another 150 days, so if you want to continue to help reach the final mileage total then please keep adding those distances in.

We are also keeping our fundraising page open, so if you would like to support our team then please CLICK HERE.
