YOUNG QPR fan George Sharp achieved a third place finish in the Junior Great South Run last weekend - raising money for QPR in the Community Trust.
The eight-year-old R's fan - who kindly chose to raise money for the QPR Tiger Cubs, our very own Down's Syndrome team - finished the 1.5km race in 5 minutes, 39 seconds.
George, who is a Season Ticket holder with his dad John, remarkably found the going quite easy in his race and is now encouraging R's fans to dig deep for a worthy cause.
"It was quite an easy race actually!" he told www.qpr.co.uk.
"Bits of it were hard, but in general I found it quite easy.
"It was so enjoyable though and getting over that finishing line was a great feeling."
He added: "I want to finish better next year now - that's my aim!
"But before then, I'd love for QPR fans to sponsor my third place finish for the Tiger Cubs!"
