ON JUNE 9th 2022, Manny Ruiz will be walking 162 miles to raise money for both the Grenfell Foundation and Kids on the Green organisation - and he needs your support!
Of course, the said date is the fifth anniversary of the tragic Grenfell Tower fire which took the lives of 72 victims and touched the hearts of many including Manny, whose 12-year-old niece was tragically lost on that fateful night.
Manny has featured in both our Game 4 Grenfell in 2017 and more recently the Grenfell Memorial Cup, which was hosted at Loftus Road last weekend. He will be walking 162 miles, from the banks of the Thames to the Grenfell Tower, to raise funds for two local organisations which are close to his heart.

Kids on the Green
Local charity Kids on the Green (KOTG) started as an emergency response project to the Grenfell Tower fire and has been vital in supporting families, young people and children ever since.
KOTG delivers a fusion of play, arts and sports while also offering local young people a safe and supported space to get to know their neighbours and community.
They use art therapy through music arts and performance alongside alternative and hollistic therapies.
The Grenfell Foundation is a charitable organisation set up at the request of bereaved and survivors from the Grenfell Tower fire. It provides support and assistance to the generations affected by the Grenfell Tower tragedy, with an emphasis on community, well-being and education.
The foundation doesn't grant payments to individuals, but funds services and equipment that support bereaved and survivors. Examples include the Silent Walk, anniversary events, travel for bereaved that live outside of London to attend important meetings and costs for videos and media that keep Grenfell in the public eye.
