FIRST team stars Liam Kelly and Lee Wallace recently paid our QPR Tiger Cubs a visit at PlayFootball.
The Scottish duo were in attendance of one of our sessions on Monday night with the Down Syndrome group ahead of the Eleventh edition of the walk, which is due to take place prior to the R’s west London derby with Fulham on the 21st of March.
Speaking to www.qpr.co.uk: R’s keeper Kelly was keen to express how important the work is that the trust do, explaining: “It’s a brilliant session it puts so many smiles on the children’s faces.
“Andy Evans and everyone behind the scenes at the trust do an amazing job, but it’s vitally important that we can raise as much money on the 21st to help continue to fund great sessions like this and make the kids happier.
“The walk can help raise awareness of the Tiger Cubs and if we can raise some more money for them then that is fantastic.”
The Tiger Feet Walk is now approaching its eleventh year and this time around we will be walking from Craven Cottage to the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium ahead of our lunchtime kick-off with Fulham.
