LES Ferdinand is showing his support for Non-League Day on Saturday at St Albans City FC in aid of Prostate Cancer UK – the official charity of Non-League day.
He'll be joined by Sky Sports touchline reporter, Geoff Shreeves, for a Q&A session at half time where the club will auction an official signed ‘Ferdinand 9’ QPR home shirt in aid of the charity.
"I know the St Albans has a great community ethos so it's a great opportunity for those to come down and experience what their local club has to offer," he told www.qpr.co.uk.
The Saints, who currently sit third in the National League South, are at home against fellow high-flyers Hampton & Richmond Borough who currently occupy a place above on goal difference.
St Albans City’s co-owner Lawrence Levy is hopeful for a good turnout and hopes the R's faithful will converge upon Clarence Park on Saturday to help support a great cause and a great non-league club.
"It's going to be a great day at Clarence Park and fantastic to be able raise money for Prostate Cancer UK on a day where no Premiership or Championship football is on," he said.
"We would like to thank Les and Queens Park Rangers FC for their support for the day."
