Nominate your unsung community hero

QPR fans have been invited to nominate their unsung heroes in their local community, who will be honoured at a special Community Day at the R’s home fixture against Rotherham United on March 18th.

The QPR Community Day will see local public sector organisations and charities thanked for the work they do in the area, with local teachers, firefighters, police officers and NHS staff invited to attend a presentation at half-time.
Unsung community heroes, nominated by QPR fans, will be also recognised by the club with a small number invited to join the half-time presentation.
In addition, QPR will run a special ticket offer for the day, with other public sector and charity workers and sports club volunteers offered discounted £9.99 tickets for the match.
QPR Chief Executive Lee Hoos told www.qpr.co.uk: “QPR has the community at its heart, so we wanted to show our gratitude to those unsung heroes whose contribution to the community often goes unnoticed.
"They could be carers, teachers, someone running a local football team, or anyone who is putting themselves at the service of others.
"I invite QPR fans to nominate someone who they think is making a contribution to their community that we as a club should recognise.”
