QPR In the Community Trust’s popular soccer schools returned again last week, as a record-breaking number of children looked to stay active during the half term break.
Almost 100 children, aged 5-14 filled up our Soccer School, based at PlayFootball to celebrate half term in style.
Obviously, due to the current situation, extra safety precautions were put in place, ensuring the children were able to enjoy a safe footballing environment.
Similar to back in the summer, when all children and staff first entered PlayFootball, they were temperature checked and sanitised to help maintain the safety of everyone on site.
Danny Harrigan QPR’s Soccer Schools Coordinator, told www.qpr.co.uk: "Much like the summer, this week has been fantastic. Once again, all the precautions were in place and we have been able to celebrate with a record number of participants, which was great.
“Everyone has had a great time and we look forward to hopefully what will be a fantastic Christmas soccer school camp.”
Please note that this took place before the new COVID-19 restrictions where in place and the Christmas school's future will be decided as soon as possible.
